Daughter (aka) Deputy CEO of the Atlanta Quilt Festival and owner of Page Turning Products) India and I previewed our soon to be released e-book Share Your Quilt With the World! — Tips on How to Enter a Quilt Show at the Atlanta Quilt Festival’s Creative Community Crafts Day.

I made short introductory comments about how important it is for quilters to share their quilt in spite of fears of rejection. To reinforce the point for new quilters, I shared my very first quilt.

India took the audience through a step by step power point presentation of all the ins and outs of entering a quilt show. Her knowledge of all things quilty was on full display.

The audience which included experienced quilters and beginners were attentive and soaked up the knowledge. Some were even taking notes!

The presentation to such an attentive and inquisitive audience allowed India and me to fine tune our ebook and include a few things we left out. We are grateful to the quilters who agreed to be our “focus group audience.”

It was a good day for the intrepid mother/daughter team. I’ll let you know when the book is on my web site.
