I was honored to be awarded the 33rd Kuumba Award by my sorors in the East Point College Park Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta. May 7th, 2023 at the Hoosier United Memorial Church. The award recognizes excellence and creativity in the arts, and for me, it recognized my accomplishments in the quilting community. I am deeply grateful.
