My Quilts Take Center Stage!

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

Finally Home at the International quilt Festival held at the George Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX.

As you know, I have 3 quilts hanging in the George Brown Convention Center at the International Quilt Festival! “Finally Home”, Finally Found Freedom and Rain, Resilience and Rainbows make me proud.

My quilts seemed to be well received by the viewers as best I could tell. I personally felt like they held their own among the approximately 1200 quilts on display.

Thank you Regina Carter, Maxine Moore and Carolyn Duke for the beautiful machine quilting on my quilts. The patterns for Finally Home and Rain, Resilience and Rainbows are by Kim McLean. Finally Found Freedom is an original design inspired by traditional blocks.
