St. Thomas, Virgin Islands was the final port of call on our Carnival cruise. It is known for its fabulous shopping (especially gem stones) so we jumped right in.

The day before we were in St. Maarten. It is smaller than St. Thomas, but beautiful nonetheless.

There is something special about a city surrounded
by water. Those in the Caribbean are always colorful and picturesque.

Previous cruises that stopped at picturesque ports of call inspired my quilt Island City.
While islands are beautiful, and have a happy vibe, walking away with a little sparkly something for myself is also beautiful. Remember, always give yourself flowers (or diamonds). 💎
