Baby Addison will find Addison’s Christmas Numbers, a cute little quilt that depicts the 12 days of Christmas, under her Christmas tree this year. She will be 18 months old in December and will be learning lots of new things, including the song that inspired the quilt. Her Mom India has promised to teach it to her. Hopefully this quilt will help Baby Addison learn her numbers.

The quilt is a panel (I have no idea who created the panel because I purchased it years ago and recently “discovered” it in my studio) that artistically represents the 12 days of Christmas song. I added an African border to give the quilt my personal touch. My friend Maxine Moore, who does my long arm quilting, added her personal touch by quilting the words “Merry Christmas” into the background of the quilt.

There are no embellishments on the quilt such as buttons because at this stage everything goes into the baby’s mouth. Hopefully, Baby Addison will spend many happy moments on Addison’s Christmas Numbers with her two fur siblings Barrett and Penny and her favorite toys.

The back of the quilt is a traditional Christmas floral print. There is a hanging sleeve on the back for easy display and a label that documents the quilt.

I signed it on the front.

I hope this quilt brightens Baby Addison’s holiday season. Are you humming the song now? Don’t blame me if you can’t get it out of your head for the rest of the day!🎄🎶
