Choose Happy #5 is part of a new series of my affirmation quilts. There are six quilts in the series. Each quilt has a center panel with a positive message.
Choose Happy #5 celebrates freedom with the words “Like the wind I am free.”
The quilt measures 27 X 27 inches. The dominant colors are pink and green. I pieced and quilted Choose Happy #5 on my Janome sewing machine. After it was quilted, I embellished “Choose Happy #5” with painted buttons, crystals, yo-yo’s and a charm.
The back of the quilt is a green African print. I added a hanging sleeve for easy display and a label that documents the quilt.
I signed and date the quilt on the front and added a charm that says “Choose Happy.”
This quilt is one-of-a-kind.
