Baby Addison, India and I began November at the Houston International Quilt Show, but now we are safely home. It was an amazing trip for us as I shared my quilt Winter Wonderland Wanderlust, and we learned how to travel with a baby.

The trip reinforced my faith in the goodness of strangers. It seemed that every person in the convention hall stopped to say hello to Baby Addison.

So as I reflect on our experience from the solitude of my back porch, I realize we were given the greatest gift. Although Baby Addison is only four months old, I know she felt the love that so many strangers gave her. Knowing you are loved is the greatest gift of all, and I am deeply grateful that Baby Addison, India and received that gift from my world of quilters.
