Although we have a few cold days in December, we also have many mild days it December that are perfect for porch sitting. The holidays give me an excuse to dress up the porch in its Christmas finery. So even if it is too cold to sit out, it is fun to gaze at the Christmas decorations from inside.
I confess that I love Block of the Months (BOM). Some days I just don't want to think creatively. I just want to sit down and quilt. I use BOM's for those days. The porch quilt shown is a BOM from Stitchin Heaven quilt shop. I completed the series and now I have a porch quilt for every month of the year. Thank you Stitchin Heaven for your wonderful porch quilt series.
December is one of my favorite months of the year because I love celebrating all of the Christmas traditions. I love it so much that I have created quite a collection of Christmas quilts that I am looking forward to sharing with you.
