I enjoyed attending the Atlanta Quilt Festival Quilter's Finishing Retreat. There were 8 master quilters on hand teaching various techniques to make your quilt more perfect.
I spent most of my time with Mary Maynard, an exceptional hand quilter. Even though I hand quilt a lot and am comfortable with my technique, it was comforting to know that it just takes practice to get those perfectly straight stitches.
