My quilt Every Defiant Woman has returned home from QuiltCon, the national quilt show sponsored by the Modern Quilt Guild. She was part of the Brown Sugar Stitchers Quilt Guild exhibit.

I created Every Defiant Woman so that she could be part of the annual Freedom Quilts exhibit hosted by the City of South Fulton, GA as part of its Juneteenth celebration activities. Since Juneteenth became a federal holiday, I make a new Juneteenth quilt ever year.
