During our 10-day stay in Ireland, India and I did all the touristy things in between taking care of the business of the trip which was to participate in a choral festival with the Atlanta Young Singers. We visited the cities of Kinsale, Dublin and Belfast so we also saw quite a bit of the countryside. We did too much for a blog post, but here are some highlights.
We visited the Trinity Library because we love books. The Long Room in the Trinity Library is one of the most famous libraries in the world. You could smell the oldness.
We visited the Guinness Store because it is fun, and I love beer. We learned to pour a perfect glass of Guinness. Who knew there are 6 steps!
We visited several great museums including EPIC, the Irish Immigration Museum and the Titanic Museum which tells the story of how the Titanic was built.
We also strolled and shopped downtown Dublin. That is where we found our obligatory Pandora charm.
We were busy and tired but determined to try to see everything.
