Make Good Trouble by Kenneth Zakee

I am happy to share that I am the new owner of this beautiful artwork by Kenneth Zakee. It is part of the Atlanta Quilt Festival's Good Trouble Quilts -- Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Congressman John Lewis exhibit which premiered at the 2022 Atlanta Quilt Festival and is still traveling. Even though the task at hand is serious, this artwork makes me smile.

Aside from the beauty of the piece, it captures a wonderful memory for me. I will also remember fondly that two of my quilts shared the gallery stage with this work of art.

I am working on a quilt for the third part of the John Lewis trilogy -- Getting Into MY Good Trouble -- Continuing the Legacy of Congressman John Lewis. Look for it in August at the Atlanta Quilt Festival.
