The church is the bedrock of African American culture. When you have nothing, you must have faith. From slavery, to the civil rights movement, to now, the church has held the African American community together. My quilt Praise Team Praising was inspired by the praise teams in the modern black church. I hope this quilt inspires you to get your praise on today.
