The opening of the first Juneteenth art exhibit at the Alpharetta Arts Center was a huge success. I was proud and happy that my quilt Hallelujah! Finally Free as a Bird!” was part of the exhibit.

I attended the opening, made some new friends and enjoyed sharing my quilt. I hope the exhibit will become an annual fixture on the Alpharetta arts calendar.

The exhibit continues through July 29th. The Alpharetta Arts Center is located at 238 Canton Street , Alpharetta, GA.
