Saturday, the Brown Sugar Stitchers Quilt Guild met in person for the first time since the Covid pandemic closed everything. During covid, the guild met via Zoom and substantially increased its membership of African American quilters as quilters outside of Atlanta were able to tune in. Zoom meetings are nice, but there is nothing quite as joyful as a room full of quilters sharing quilts.
The quilt shown is Quilters Gather Together. It was started in a retreat of the Welcome All Quilt Guild.
