The Welcome All Quilters gathered for its last meeting of the year after a wonderful feast provided to seniors by Councilwoman Helen WIllis.
Not only was there a feast, but the festive event included live entertainment by Richard Shaw, Jr. and Santa Claus.
After the feast, we gathered for our gift exchange, show and tell and a presentation to our co-leaders.
I had a special show and tell because Michelle delivered her newly finished quilt for International Superstar Baby Addison to me. I know Baby Addison will be the superstar of daycare with this addition to her eclectic and ever growing quilt collection.
It was a wonderful day of fellowship and good cheer. My quilt Ancestral Christmas Gathering was inspired by such joyful gatherings.
