A Night Out at the East Cobb Quilt Show

Visiting “Stop Disappearing! Show Up and Speak Up!” at the East Cobb Quilt Show

Preview night for the East Cobb Quilt Show was June 5th, and I was there to see my quilt Stop Disappearing! Show Up and Speak Up! spread her message: VOTE! The quilt is created using the disappearing nine-patch block. I added “vote” charms throughout the quilt to drive the message of the quilt home. I am not subtle about voting!😂

There are over 300 quilts in the exhibit and lots of vendors, so there is a lot to see and spend. The quilt show runs June 6 - 8 at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, GA.

I started my celebratory evening with dinner at the idyllic Canoe Restaurant with my neighbor and friend Connie. It was a good night.

Dinner on the banks of the Chattahoochee River is magical.
