The Atlanta Quilt Festival premiered the final exhibit in the John Lewis trilogy Friday night, and I was there to welcome and celebrate the partners, quilters and friends of the Festival on behalf of the Atlanta Quilt Festival Board of Directors.

The exhibit is entitled Getting Into My Good Trouble - Continuing the Legacy of Congressman John Lewis. It features 29 original art quilts, two of which I created!

I enjoyed introducing the exhibit and mingling with friends of the Atlanta Quilt Festival. A representative from the John and Lillian Miles Lewis Foundation was on hand to welcome the exhibit, and Baby Addison made an appearance. 😍

The exhibit continues until August 25th at the Southwest Arts Center Gallery, 905 New Hope Road, South Fulton, GA 30331. Don’t miss this powerful exhibit. Meanwhile here are some highlights from opening night.
